Merv Hughes shows Brendan Fevola how to grow a moustache ahead of Remember Movember event

MOUSTACHE king Merv Hughes has a few tips for Brendan Fevola ahead of the Remember Movember charity function.

IF there is anyone to learn from how to grow the perfect moustache, it would be Merv Hughes.

Hughes has the most iconic mo in Australia, so it makes sense he is throwing his support behind the Movember cause.

He will join Brendan Fevola on Friday at the Sporting Globe for the Remember Movember charity function.

Hughes, who has had his mo for 31 years, joked that Fevola has a bit of work before he gets to his standard of a decent moustache.

“With everything he does, Fev puts his heart and soul into,” he said.

“But in all honestly, it’s a long way to go.

“He’s having a go, and that’s the main thing.”

Fevola said he was growing a mo for Movember because like many men, he has had mates who have been affected by cancer or mental illness.

Both Hughes and Fevola are encouraging men to get health check ups all throughout the year, not just in the month of November.
