Former Home And Away star and now Paris-based expat Melissa George is selling her former Los Angeles home. It’s the second time the Perth-born star has attempted to offload the home.

Ex-Home And Away star and now Paris-based expat Melissa George is selling her former Los Angeles home.

It’s the second time the Perth-born star has attempted to offload the home.

George, who has recently been Down Under shooting the Nine series Bad Mothers, listed the Calabasas home, in the hills west of the San Fernando Valley, three years ago but failed to find a buyer.

It became a $US5000 ($A7200) a month rental, but now George has listed it again with $US995,000 ($A1.44 million) hopes.

Melissa George is attempting to sell her house for the second time.

The home has been remodelled since it was built in the early 1990s.

Offering 365sq m of living space, the modern home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and living and family rooms with fireplaces.

George paid $US600,000 for the house in 2002.

Kimberley Pfeiffer of Coldwell Banker and Levi Freeman of Nourmand & Associates are the listing agents.

George lives in Paris with her two children, Raphael and Solal, from her relationship with her former partner, French film director Jean-David Blanc.

She made her acting breakthrough on Home And Away, where she played Angel Parrish for three years from 1993, having previously been a national roller-skating champion and a model.
