MasterChef judge George Calombaris to return in 2018

CHANNEL 10 has confirmed the future MasterChef judge George Calombaris on the hit cooking show, after a publication reported that it would dump him because of “negative PR.”

CHANNEL 10 has confirmed MasterChef judge George Calombaris will return to the hit cooking show, despite a publication reporting that it would dump him because of “negative PR.”

Calombaris, 38, a Melbourne Victory fan, pleaded guilty earlier this month to assaulting a rival fan at Allianz Stadium in May. He will appear in court again on October 20.

Woman’s Day reported today that the network was considering giving Calombaris the axe due to poor publicity, but a spokeswoman for MasterChef has since quashed those rumours.

“All of the MasterChef Australia judges including George Calombaris will return in 2018,” she told Confidential.
