Maria Thattil puts rumours to rest about relationship status with former AFLW star Moana Hope

Former Miss Universe Australia Maria Thattil has addressed break-up rumours with former AFLW star Moana Hope.

Maria Thattil has declared she’s not single and very much still dating Moana Hope.

Despite neither posting or appearing together publicly for months, and a source confirming they’d gone their separate ways, Thattil said the couple “is great”.

“I’m not single,’’ Thattil said. “I’ve seen rumours but that’s honestly all it is. We are good and excited for the year ahead. Excited for 2025 together and it’s going to be great.

“Nothing has come from us. We’re investing in ourselves.”

Thattil stepped out with Aperol at the Australian Open to kickstart the two weeks of tennis action. She also caught up with Australian tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt for an Aperol on grand slam oval.

“This is my second year and I’ll be around for aperitivo hour,’’ she said.

“It’s such a beautiful time of year. It is so important for spending time with people you love and it’s synonymous with Aperol. People will come for the Aperol but they’ll stay for the vibe.”

Thattil has just returned from a health retreat and has changed her hair colour with celebrity hairdresser Marie Uva.

“I knew this would be a year of change and it feels so me,’’ Thattil said.

“There’s definitely a few things I’ve been taking care of in terms of my mental and physical health. I’ve felt the most me I have in a while. And I’m feeling like the year is starting off right.”
