The Premiership bond is still strong between former Magpies Travis Cloke and Dale Thomas.
The pair reunited at the Holden Centre on the 10th anniversary of Collingwood’s 2010 Premiership win for a segment to air on Dancing with the Stars tomorrow.
Cloke’s Dancing routine is based on his most memorable year.
“Apart from my daughter being born, that’s the No.1,’’ Cloke said.
“We were all kids, we got there and achieved the ultimate. We stumbled in 2011 and that was the realisation of how special it was to win it. As a kid all you want to do is win a flag and play in premierships.”
Thomas said it brought back great memories returning to the club.
“It’s the first time I’ve been back in the capacity of having a laugh,’’ said Thomas, who came runner-up on I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!
“The premiership is something that will always tie me back to this club and not only Trav, but also the trainers, coaches and everyone who was with us.
“The title of Premiership player is something you get to carry with you and it can’t be taken away.”
Cloke said he was enjoying the challenge of dancing.
“It’s hard work, Monday-Friday, four hours a day minimum, and then Saturday-Sunday in studio all day.
“(My wife) Beccy doesn’t like me very much because I’m not home much for (our daughter) Scarlett.
“I’m pretty lucky with a supportive household.”
