Former AFL bad boy Warwick Capper has collaborated on a rap track.
The track, Telephone Number, is credited to local funk artist Shaneal, featuring Warwick Capper.
The former Sydney Swans superstar premiered the song on Fox FM’s breakfast show with Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Byron Cooke on Wednesday, but the radio hosts soon quizzed Capper over his whereabouts on the track.
“I actually quite like it, Wiz,” Fevola said, “but where were you?”
Later, Capper told Confidential he features mainly on background vocals in the chorus, with the lyrics: “Girl I want your number, let me get your number. Let me call you up, see what’s up.”
Capper said he wants to release the song once he figures out how to put in on the digital music service, iTunes.
He also said he’s making a TV reality show, In Bed With The Cappers, and claimed it’s been picked up by streaming giant Netflix.
“Dusty Martin is in one (episode),” he claimed on radio, then told Confidential later: “He’s not in my show.”
Fevola asked Capper if he’d had “plastic surgery on your face and abs put on your stomach.”
“I got a six pack and lipo,” Capper replied. “Geez I’m looking skinny and cut — you beauty.”
Cooke concluded dryly: “He has fake abs and a new single you can’t get anywhere yet.”
Capper told later Confidential he’d had his face done by “Daniel Lazor” in a bid to “look 29.”
