Lisa Oldfield has a new love in her life who she describes as “a keeper” and her “next husband”. It’s believed they have been dating for a couple of months following Oldfield’s separation from her former politician husband.

Lisa Oldfield has a new love in her life, a man named James Laws she describes as “a keeper”.

The former Real Housewives of Sydney star and businesswoman is understood to have been dating the business executive for a couple of months.

She and former One Nation politician David Oldfield split at the end of last year and Lisa has reverted to her maiden name of Johnston.

“It is very new,” she said when contacted by Confidential, not wanting to give too much away for the sake of privacy.

“He is a great guy and we are enjoying each other’s company.”

The new couple met through friends with Lisa sharing a number of photographs on her private Facebook page of the pair out and about together.

Lisa, who has reverted back to her maiden name, shared various photos to her private Facebook page.

“When your boyfriend offers to finish work early and bring chicken soup when you’re sick with tonsillitis,” Lisa wrote with one pic. “He’s a keeper.”

In another post, she wrote of 198cm tall James: “Love being a short arse (I’m wearing massive heels here too!) Golf today and dinner tonight ! Spoiled by #jimbo.”

On February 23, Lisa wrote: “When you get flowers hand delivered ! And I’m 6ft2 in heels, so you can imagine how big Jimbo is.”

Responding to a comment on the post, Lisa jokingly declared James would be “my next husband”.

Lisa and Oldfield were married for nearly 18 years have two sons together — Bert and Harry.

They appeared together as a couple on the 2018 season of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! in which Oldfield was eliminated from the competition after just a few days while his wife stayed on.

Lisa and her new beau are understood to enjoy shared passions of golf, swimming and tennis.

“They seem perfect for one another,” a friend told Confidential. “They are very comfortable with each other and they both count themselves very lucky.”
