It was gold for Gold 104.3 in the latest radio ratings, with breakfast host Christian O’Connell recording his best result since arriving in Australia.
But SEN recorded falls across the board except in evenings; Mornings with Gerard Whateley dropped the most going from 5.3 to 4.1.
O’Connell rose to a 9.5 per cent share, narrowing the lead of FOX FM’s Fifi, Fev and Byron (9.6).
Gavin Miller in drive also moved ahead of Fox FM’s Hughesy and Kate with a 2.1 gain, while overall Gold recorded a 12 per cent share.
Despite a small drop 3AW radio kings Ross Stevenson and John Burns were still easy leaders in the Melbourne breakfast market on 17.3.
ABC’s Jacinta Parsons and Sami Shah picked up 1.7 to land on 9.9.
The big fall was for the KIIS FM breakfast from 7.2 to 5.8.
