Costeen Hatzi, the partner of tennis ace Nick Kyrgios, has stepped into the spotlight to model in her first major photo shoot.
The social media influencer and businesswoman glammed up in Melbourne as the face of Bondi Sands’ new Technocolor range, an innovative self-tan product, which launched with a VIP event on Thursday night.
“It was my first photo shoot and everyone made me feel really comfortable,’’ said Hatzi, who is the face of the Magenta shade from the range.
“I felt great. I’ve been using Bondi Sands since I was a teenager and I’m passionate about tanning and the brand.”
Hatzi will soon head to Europe as Kyrgios prepares to make his return to the court after a knee injury forced him out of the Australian Open in January.
She said the Wimbledon finalist is more determined than ever to return to the court and is eyeing the French Open and Wimbledon for his comeback.
“He’s training and hitting balls and teaching me how to play tennis,’’ she said.
“After the season he had last year he’s very determined. If anything he’s more eager to get on court now. I cannot wait to watch him again.
“He’s got an exhibition in Denmark and then Roland Garros and Wimbledon, hopefully he gets another good run, we’re super excited.”
Hatzi and Kyrgios live together in Sydney and travel back and forth to Canberra to see his family.
They have been together for a year and a half.
“I love being home and I love travelling as well but there is no better feeling than seeing my friends and family,’’ Hatzi said.
Hatzi, who graduated from university with a psychology degree, is building her brand as a social media influencer and content creator and has also just launched a dress hire business.
Kyrgios said he was proud of his girl after seeing behind-the-scenes footage of her shoot for Bondi Sands’ new product, available at Chemist Warehouse.
“Damn, early retirement for me if you keep killing it,’’ he wrote on social media when she shot the campaign.
“I got the best in the world.”
