The shock jock and the TV personality cleared the air on KIIS FM Wednesday morning after she believed he slut-shamed her during an interview.

Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson were chatting with Chatfield’s partner, Peking Duk musician Adam Hyde, when he made them aware she was insulted and they called her live on air.

“If it came across like I was poo-pooing you, I do apologise because I always thought you were great,’’ Sandilands said.

“Adam’s just told me something I’m quite shocked by. This must have come from you during after sex chat, I must have been brought up at some stage. I thought I was always very positive.”

Chatfield said the offensive conversation was between Sandilands and Brittany Hockley and her romance back then with American rapper Yung Gravy.

“I think the implication of the whole conversation was... there was a huge implication of sl-t shaming there,’’ she said.

“And it’s okay if you intended a different way. That’s fine, Kyle. But the whole conversation around it with you and Britt made me really upset and really uncomfortable. And Yung Gravy actually messaged me after and said, ‘That was really weird. That was a really uncomfortable interview because of how they spoke about you’.”

Sandilands said saying she had guys lined up around the block was a positive.

“We speak our truth and I am someone who is easily convinced to change their mind,’’ he said.

“I think I said they’re lined up around the block, that’s a positive thing.

“I rated her when she was over at the other joint, this is a badass bitch, I rated her.

“I think we’ve had a misunderstanding.”
