KELLI Underwood will return to footy commentating, spearheading Fox Footy’s coverage of the inaugural AFL Women’s competition.
Underwood was a trailblazer calling footy on Channel 10 six years ago.
She will be joined by Neroli Meadows in the hosting chair, with other names to be added to the line-up.
“That feels like an eternity ago when I did it with Channel 10,’’ Underwood said.
“And then I called it on radio and have been doing the netball. We’re all starting from scratch and it’s the first chance for women to be playing. I’m sure there will be naysayers but you’ve got to keep an open mind.”
Fox Footy will broadcast all 28 home and away games live, with 55 pre-season games all up including the men’s AFL.
The women’s league starts in February.
