FORMER Home and Away sweetheart Kate Ritchie has continued to dominate in her new field of radio, with the Nova drive show that she co-hosts being named Best On-Air Metropolitan Team at the prestigious Australian Commercial Radio Awards in Melbourne last night.

3AW powerhouse Neil Mitchell won his 20th ACRA, taking home the Brian White Award for Radio Journalism.

Amanda Keller, co-host of Sydney’s WSFM’s breakfast show, Jonesy and Amanda, became the first female on-air presenter to be inducted into the ACRA Hall of Fame.

Andrew Denton, who recently underwent major heart surgery, made a surprise appearance on the night to present her with the award. 2GB broadcaster Ray Hadley was also inducted into the ACRA Hall of Fame. The awards were held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
