North Melbourne star Majak Daw is expecting a baby with girlfriend Emily McKay.
The happy couple made the announcement just a day after Daw’s return to the training track.
“Baby Daw coming soon,” Daw posted, alongside a picture of himself cuddling McKay’s stomach.
Ms McKay told the Herald Sun: “I’ve been feeling really good and we’re both just so happy and excited.
“We really want to thank our family and friends for all their support, and for letting us enjoy this moment privately, up until now.
“We can’t wait for this next, positive phase of our lives together.”

Ms McKay’s post said: “Pretty happy about our lil friend that’s on the way. Baby Daw due this year.”
The couple did not leave any hints as to the gender of their baby or the due date.

The Kangaroos defender’s baby news follows a tumultuous period after his fall from the Bolte Bridge in December.
The 28-year-old returned to North Melbourne in February and on Monday ran for the first time at Arden St, after recovering from serious injuries to his hip and pelvis.

Daw, 28, was cheered on at Arden St by teammates, coaches, family and friends.
“It has exceeded all expectations,’’ North Melbourne head physio Matthew Turnbull said on Monday.
“We’re extremely happy with what he’s been able to achieve in this time, but we also acknowledge that he’s got a lot more steps to get through in this rehab process.”
