Jordan Ablett’s touching tribute to ‘best daddy’ Gary

Jordan Ablett has shared an adorable tribute to her former footy star husband Gary, describing him as the “best daddy” to their kids.

The mum of two shared an adorable video of Gary holding their smiling son Levi while waves crashed into his feet.

As the touching song “Can’t help falling in love” played, Levi’s broad smile was on full display as former AFL star Gary playfully dipped his legs into the water.

“Seriously the best daddy” Jordan captioned the post with a love heart.

The Abletts, who welcomed a daughter, Grace, in November last year, revealed in 2020 that Levi, 3, had been diagnosed with a rare degenerative disease.

Last March Jordan said that there was a short life expectancy with their son’s condition.

Her latest update came after the family were forced to return home by the floods earlier this month after setting off up the east coast towards Queensland.

They got as far as Newcastle before deciding to call it quits and turn around.

“Our hearts are breaking for everyone who have been affected by these floods,’’ Jordan wrote.

“Families, houses and businesses torn apart. Praying for and thinking of everyone who’s hurting right now. The resilience and bravery of everyone has been so inspiring to watch and makes me incredibly proud to be an Aussie.”
