KIDS television star Jimmy Giggle has opened up about his sex symbol status — and a potential groupie who mistakenly slipped her phone number to his wife.

KIDS television star Jimmy Giggle has opened up about his sex symbol status — and a potential groupie who mistakenly slipped her phone number to his wife.

His wife, Tori, was at one of Giggle’s popular live shows, handing out fan cards.

Jimmy Rees, one half of hit show Giggle and Hoot is popular with mums around the country.

“Some lady wrote her phone number on a piece of paper and handed it to Tori,” Giggle, 26, born James Rees, told Confidential. “Unbeknown to her, she had given it to my wife. She would be mortified if she knew.

“Tori didn’t say anything. We both laughed about it later.”

Such is life in the world of ABC-TV hit Giggle And Hoot, a ratings hit with spin-offs including merchandise, a national tour, and bawdy comments about Rees on social media.

Meanwhile, he and Tori are expecting a baby in April.

“I have nephews and I can’t help but entertain them, but it will be amazing to play with our own little one,” Rees said.

Giggle and Hoot, and guests Banana In Pyjamas and Hoopla Doopla, will perform at the Arts Centre from December 17 to 21.
