With time to be creative at home in LA, Aussie singer Vanessa Amorosi has written a new single aptly titled Isolation. It will be released tomorrow in support of the hard hit music industry.

Vanessa Amorosi has used her time at home to create a new single for the times, aptly titled Isolation.
The Aussie pop singer will release the ballad tomorrow after working with her team in Los Angeles. Proceeds from the single will go to Support Act, an Australian charity helping music professionals facing hardship.
“Eight months ago I had a conversation with my team about releasing a record called The Blacklisted Collection and putting on the songs that never make the pop records that I really loved,’’ Amorosi said.
“Some of those songs are 10 or five years old, but because of what’s going on I’ve been stuck at home being so creative.
“This song Isolation has literally been written in the last two weeks and I’m very excited about it, and hopefully it relates to everyone stuck in isolation at the moment.
“We’re donating everything that comes back into Support Act who are offering a bunch of different things for musicians and roadies and everyone who make concerts happen. I’m excited to give back to my fellow friends with all of us being out of work.”

Amorosi has put out three songs already over the past three Mondays, called Coming Down Off You, Sweet Mirage and 15,000 Revs.
“It’s been lovely because working on this project it’s been a real mission to turn out a song every Monday,’’ Amorosi said.
“It keeps us all busy and preoccupied so that we’re not sitting there with our minds racing about things that are just not important. So putting our energy into this has been wonderful and that’s the great thing about music, hopefully it helps a bunch of us at the moment.”
