The 18 players set to take the Big Freeze challenge have been revealed.
The Queen’s Birthday spectacular will be televised as a one-hour event on Channel 7 on Monday and each club has filmed their player in their own “ice challenge” to raise funds and awareness in the annual Fight MND campaign, led by Neale Daniher.
“It’s because of the support of the 18 AFL clubs and their players that Big Freeze 6 is able to go ahead in the way that it is so I am extremely grateful to them and to Channel 7 for making it all happen,’’ Daniher said.
“The Big Freeze beanies are the symbol of the Fight MND Army. Winter is here in a big way and it is getting very cold so beanies are becoming a must-have item, especially a nice new warm blue one.”
Mick Molloy and Daisy Pearce will host Seven’s coverage at 4pm on Monday.
