Melbourne’s social set gathered on Wednesday night to celebrate the second Herald Sun Confidential party at Wink Wink.
Coinciding with the launch of the new Prahran venue, the event was headlined by Eurovision contender and Australian singing favourite Vanessa Amorosi.
She debuted her new song Back to Love.
“I’m so excited to be here, to perform my hits and some new tracks,’’ Amorosi said.
“The past seven years have been really creative. That’s why people didn’t hear from me because I spent every day arranging and writing music and being super arty.
“It’s great to feel the Melbourne vibe with a great crew.”
Amorosi was joined by almost 300 VIP guests, hosted by the Confidential team and the venue’s owner Simon Lennox.
Among the glamour crowd were LA based actors Ash Brewer and Bella Heathcote.
“I’ve been obsessed with her since I was a kid,’’ Brewer said. “Tina Arena and Vanessa are my Australian queens.”
Other top guests included Nadia Bartel, Jessie Murphy, Lauren Phillips, Lana Wilkinson and former Miss Universe Australia Olivia Rogers.
The music world was represented by Anthony Callea, DJ Generik, in town for Festival X with Calvin Harris, The Chantoozies’ Tottie Goldsmith and Grant Smillie who runs trendy LA venue EP & LP.
Melbourne Cup winning trainer Danny O’Brien and his wife Nina were also in the crowd, as were footy legends Dermott Brereton and Anthony Koutoufides.
Former netballer Bianca Chatfield stepped out with her new man, Mark Scrivens.
Neighbours stars Jemma Donovan, Rob Mills, Tim Robards, Ben Hall, Sharon Johal, Zima Anderson and Takaya Honda also hit the dance floor.
Real Housewives of Melbourne stars Janet Roach and Gamble Breaux made an appearance, as did Yummy Mummies stars Lorinska Merrington, Rachel Watts and Jane Scandizzo.
Grand Prix chief Andrew Westacott zoomed in, while comedians Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann and Nick Giannopoulos were also there.
Newsreaders Jennifer Keyte and Jo Hall and weatherman Mike Larkan also joined the party.
