Fashion designer Effie Kats has pleaded for help to track down the brazen car thief who stole her Range Rover in Martha Cove.

Fashion designer Effie Kats has pleaded for the public’s help after the theft of her car overnight.
Kats was down on the Mornington Peninsula and the car, a white Range Rover evoque, was taken from Martha Cove on Monday night.
“My car was stolen last night in Martha Cove on the Mornington Peninsula with so many of my belongings in it as we had just been on a trip, all my handbags and shoes, camera and all my partner’s belongings etc,’’ she posted on Instagram.
“If you could please share this post to help spread the word to help me get it back I would be so grateful – anyone with any info please DM me // Number plate ADH 914.”
Kats was devastated that all her shoes and bags were in the car.
Since 2018, the 30-year-old has juggled two fashion lines — her namesake label, specialising in custom, made-to-order eveningwear, and Bayse, which focuses on quality basics.
She has dressed the likes of Havana Brown, Delta Goodrem, Sharon Johal, Moana Hope and Carrie Bickmore.
Her power suits have become a favourite for women across the country.
