Fresh from his sold-out show at Rod Laver Arena, The Kid Laroi headed to Melbourne’s hottest CBD club Ms Collins to take in the crowd and catch up with mates.
But as The Kid cooled his heels and relaxed with his circle, another new era celebrity was in the house lapping up the bumper crowd’s attention.
Getting up on the DJ decks was American YouTube star IShowSpeed, real name Darren Watkins. Known for his stunts and live streaming his life, IShowSpeed has been drawing huge crowds during his Australian appearances and Friday night at Ms Collins was no different.
He was recently named as one of the world’s 25 ‘Best Streamers Right Now’ and boasts more than 33 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.
IShowSpeed seemed delighted to meet The Kid Laroi (real name Charlton Howard) at Ms Collins, the two young stars embracing and having a chat as camera phones hovered and clubbers closed in.
The Kid Laroi performed his second Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday night.
