Emma Hawkins says parenting easier second time around

Emma Hawkins, wife of Geelong forward Tom Hawkins, says motherhood is “easier but busier” second time around since welcoming their second daughter Primrose.

Emma Hawkins says she has been more confident in motherhood the second time around.

Hawkins and husband, Geelong star forward Tom Hawkins, have two daughters, Arabella, 2, and Primrose, four months.

“We’ve both been more confident as parents,’’ Hawkins said.

“We’ve found it easier, but busier. You’re not doing everything for the first time and you’re not Googling everything and second guessing yourself.”

Hawkins said her daughter loves football and the animals on their farm.

“Belle is a real go getter,’’ she said.

She is also starting to get back into work and has become an ambassador for Australian baby formula brand, Nature One Dairy.

“I am passionate about working with local produce and Australian owned brands,’’ she said.

“It’s in Priceline at the moment and it’s guaranteed to be on the shelves which is top of mind as a parent.”
