She’s one of Melbourne’s sought after escorts making $15,000 on a weekend. Now she reveals some of her biggest secrets.

Sex work from a distance: Escort Jenna Love talks COVID-safe services

She’s one of Melbourne’s sought after escorts, regularly making $15,000 on a weekend.

With a client list that includes AFL stars and celebrities, business is booming for Hope Morgan - despite the global pandemic.

Ms Morgan, who charges $1500 for a dinner date and $4000 for an overnight visit, has been working as an elite escort for six years and spends most nights being wined and dined by clients at some of Melbourne’s most ritzy restaurants.

“It wasn’t my chosen path - no one grows up thinking they will be an elite companion,” she said.

“I studied - I’m a qualified counsellor. When I started stripping on the weekend to earn extra money, I took to the adult industry like a duck to water.

“It’s a perfect fit for me I love what I do and I’m good at what I do. I can’t imagine ever having a ‘normal’ job again.”

But during the city’s lockdowns, Morgan, who was awarded top dinner date at the 2021 Australian Adult Industry Awards and will appear at Sexpo when it returns to Melbourne on November 5, has had to diversify.

“When Covid first started last year, basically that was the first time in six years that I just stopped working and turned to digital services like FaceTime bookings and OnlyFans.

“I’ve only been working face to face when it’s been safe to do so.”

Ms Morgan said raunchy subscriber site OnlyFans, which makes her around $2000 a month, has the potential to be lucrative but she prefers face-to-face dates.

“People still like the digital services, even now, coming out of the lockdowns - people will still ask for a digital service.

“I charge $150 for 30 minutes, I don’t do more than 30 minutes it’s too long - it’s kind of like a bit of a tease.”

Now that Melbourne’s lockdown has lifted, Ms Morgan is busy taking dinner date bookings.

“I have clients from all over Melbourne — some of them I have known for years,” she said.

Most of her bookings are from blue-chip suburbs such as South Yarra and Brighton.

When the city is out of lockdown, she travels further afield to Sorrento and Portsea but mainly works in Melbourne’s CBD by choice.

“Some of my clients are looking for companionship, that’s a big part of my work,” she said. “They could be recently single or widowed and are looking for company, for some it’s about making a social connection.”

Professional and discreet, Ms Morgan does not kiss and tell, but admits she has come into contact with some of Australia’s biggest celebrities.

“Some of my clients have been AFL players and others are from the cricketing world.

“I’ve had some AFL players try to contact me on my social media - it’s pretty funny.”

Ms Morgan works hard on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and stays away from drugs, even though some clients want to indulge.

“I don’t judge anyone who takes party drugs but I myself don’t partake,” she said.

HOPE’S TOP DINNER DATE TIPS

- Make it an opportunity for your date to dress up

- Keep topics flowing and cheerful early on. Have questions that are mutually of interest and give both parties opportunity to talk and share.

- Give genuine compliments based on character, personality and style.

- Follow up with a text to ensure they are home safely and thank them for the great conversation. Leave it a few days before suggesting another date if they would like.

- If you don’t want to follow up, send a message the next day and say “I really respect you and just wanted to let you know I’m not wanting to waste your time or efforts and would be interested in a friendship.” Don’t gaslight and don’t ghost. DO nip it kindly, in the bud.
