Brendan and Alex Fevola have welcomed a baby girl but intrigue surrounds the newborn’s name, with the former footy star’s radio co-host questioning whether he’s pulling a stunt.

Brendan and Alex Fevola have welcomed a baby girl — named Brenda.
The couple announced the arrival of their fourth daughter this morning with Fevola revealing the name on his top rating FOX FM radio show, Fifi, Fev and Byron.
While his radio co-host Fifi Box was unsure if the name was a prank, Fevola denied he was pulling a stunt.
“It’s not a stitch up … if it had have been a boy it would have been Brendan Junior.”

Bursting with joy, Fevola gushed over Brenda and praised Alex who underwent a C-section at 8am.
“She has a huge head of hair, Byron will be rapt,’’ he said.
“She looks like a bit like me, I wish she had got Alex’s genes but she’s super cute. Little fat cheeks. The most amazing feeling of all time. Alex was amazing, incredible.”
Fevola added a layer of intrigue to the name by not revealing it in his Instagram post.
Alongside a picture of his newborn, he wrote: “Hi World … @alexfevolamakeup your a super human mumma. mum and baby are flying #love #family #daughters #itsagirlsworld.
Fevola’s post was flooded with wellwishers but many others questioned whether the name was a prank.
Box said: “Don’t get me wrong, I love the name, I don’t necessarily believe it. I’ve worked with this man for three years, every day is a stitch up or a joke.”
Brendan and Alex Fevola have three daughters, Mia, Leni and Lulu.
They first married in 2005. They have divorced and are engaged again.
Fevola last week gave Alex a push present — a huge sparkling diamond ring.
He will be on air with Fox FM one hour less per day for the last week of the radio ratings year after the birth of the baby.
