The lavish wedding plans of Melbourne entrepreneur Bridgett Roccisano will take off next week with her dream hen’s party.
Roccisano and her sister Bianca have created multimillion-dollar businesses with their fashion label Bianca and Bridgett and their global brand Booby Tape.
Bridgett is taking 14 of her closest family and friends on a private jet to Sydney to celebrate next weekend at Sydney hot spots Mimi’s and the Ivy, followed by a pool party at the harbourside home of Melbourne socialite and leading breast cancer surgeon, Dr Chantel Thornton.
“The hen’s is something I’ve always wanted to do,’’ Bridgett said.
“I’ve hired a private jet for my closest people and after Mimi’s we have a party bus taking us to the Ivy rooftop for pride night. We’ll have water taxis to get to Chantel’s house for the next day.”
Roccisano is marrying structural draftsman Joshua Cavallaro in April.
The Church wedding will be followed by a reception at the National Gallery of Victoria with 200 guests including some of Melbourne’s most prominent families.
She will wear a dress by Melbourne designer Con Ilio and the highly regarded Giannarelli sisters are doing the wedding planning, with a surprise guest to perform on the night.
They intend to honeymoon in Paris after Booby Tape launches in Germany.
“Josh and I have a very close-knit family and I’ve got a big Italian family so I would have gone to Lake Como to get married but it’s hard with so many people,’’ Bridgett said.
“We’ll have three bridesmaids and three groomsmen each, we can’t wait.”
The Roccisanos started Bianca and Bridgett in 2017 with a $100,000 investment after styling celebrities since 2011.
Their next brand Booby Tape, created in 2018 and last week worn by Jennifer Lopez, is projected to make $20m in revenue this year.
“It’s such a topic people asking if our dad gave us money but it’s the complete opposite,’’ Bridgett said.
“We’ve worked so hard for all we’ve achieved.”
The Booby Tape parties in Hollywood have attracted names including Justin Bieber and Brooklyn Beckham.
