MULTI-faceted mum Bec Judd is returning to the catwalk.
Judd, a television presenter, radio broadcaster, design entrepreneur and mother of four children, including six-month-old twins, will hit the runway for British brand next.com.au as part of Melbourne Fashion Festival.
“It felt like the right time to get back on the catwalk,” Judd told Confidential.
“There’s always a great energy at runway shows, it really is all about that one moment and showing off the clothes and a bit of your personality at the same time.”
Her husband, former AFL superstar Chris Judd, and older children Oscar and Billie will be in the front row.
She said: “It means a lot to have them there cheering me on, and I’m so lucky to be able to bring them to my work.”
Earlier this year, Judd (right) added a radio gig — an afternoon show on KIIS FM — to her resume.
“I like to keep busy but stay balanced, so I’m always careful in the decisions I make across the various facets of my life,” she said. “Rather than these roles shaping me, I like to focus on who I am and work outwards.”
Judd said she won’t do anything too strenuous to get runway ready.
The next.com.au runway show will take place under the blade at Melbourne Museum from 6.30pm on March 16.
