AUSTRALIA’S teen party boy Corey Worthington is all grown up — and has married the woman of his dreams.
The now 24-year-old, who shot to fame after throwing an out-of-control party when he was just 16 in Melbourne, tied the knot with Mel Borg, 28. The pair wed in Bali.
It seems that Worthington opted for a humble guest list unlike the big bash he is known for.
Covered in tattoos on most areas of his body including his neck, Worthington told Woman’s Day he had no regrets about becoming Australia’s most infamous teenager.
He wore a black bow tie, white collared shirt and cream pants at the ceremony, while Borg donned a simple white lace gown and crystal headpiece.
The former Big Brother star appears to be honeymooning in the tropical destination.
“Mel looked so beautiful, she was gorgeous,” he told the magazine after the wedding.
In 2008, Worthington used social media to invite people to his party.
“Parents away, tell yr m8s, u don wanna miss it, its gonna B huge (sic),’’ he wrote on his MySpace and MSN accounts.
The result was a riotous gathering, which ended in a teenage rampage of up to 500 guests through the streets of Narre Warren South.
Police officers, a helicopter and the dog squad had to be called in to restore the peace.
“People have been saying, ‘You’re a legend’, ‘Your mates are legends’, ‘Your party was mad’,” Corey said at the time.
“All the parents have been saying, ‘I can’t believe you went to that party’, or, ‘You’re not getting to know that kid’.
“But for us teenagers it happens every week — just not as big as mine.”
