Sabrina Frederick and wife Lili Cadee-Matthews are expecting a baby.
The Collingwood AFLW player and SAS Australia star revealed the news that Lili was pregnant with their first child.
“I am so excited to announce Lil and I will be welcoming our first little bundle of joy to our family late July (or when she is ready),’’ Frederick wrote on Instagram.
“The Frederick family is growing and we couldn’t be more grateful. Can’t wait to hold our tiny dancer in our arms.”
The couple exchanged vows in a joyous ceremony last month at The Line in Footscray after postponing their wedding from December 2020 due to the pandemic.
Bachelorette Brooke Blurton was among the wedding party, alongside Frederick’s AFLW Magpies teammate Brittany Bonnici.
Blurton was joined at the service and reception party by her ex Bachelorette beau Darvid Garayeli.
Frederick, who wore a suit by Melbourne designer Effie Kats, said: “It was definitely worth the wait, especially with restrictions easing and dancing and not needing the mask”.
“I’m on cloud nine. It was a long time coming but finally we got there.
“Most of my family is from the UK so they were watching via Zoom. My brother was there but my sister was in Perth. I’d love to have seen how many steps I got in on the night.”
