AFL glamour couple Nadia and Jimmy Bartel seemed to have it all — two beautiful children, a luxurious home and the perfect marriage. But there were warning signs on social media before their shock split was confirmed yesterday.

The marriage of AFL glamour couple Nadia and Jimmy Bartel is over.

A source close to the couple has confirmed the shock split after rumours surfaced when the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram and both were spotted without wedding rings.

Nadia this morning posted a cryptic quote on Instagram, that has since been deleted, which appeared to be about friends and family who have supported her.

“You know who you are,” she wrote with a kiss.

The quote was: “People who resonate with your energy will always be there. Y’all are on the same frequency you are aligned together. It’s a soul family. Know your members.”

Fashion blogger Nadia and former Geelong star Jimmy have two sons, Henley who was born in October last year and Aston, born in November 2015.

Nadia last posted a picture of them together in June, while Jimmy posted a picture of Nadia in May for her birthday and Mother’s Day.

“Aston, Henley and I love you so so so much,’’ he wrote with love hearts.

In a recent post, Nadia’s diamond wedding ring was missing from her left hand, while Jimmy has also been seen without his ring.

Nadia posted today she was shooting on the Gold Coast.

She started popular lifestyle blog The Chronicles Of Nadia and also runs a successful online fashion business called The Connection.

Nadia also has a close circle of girlfriends including Rebecca Judd and Jessie Murphy, whom she went to Coachella music festival with in April.

Triple-premiership player Jimmy, 35, played 305 games for Geelong in a storied career spanning 14 years, winning the Brownlow Medal in 2007 and the Norm Smith Medal in 2011.

The decorated ex-Cat was also named All-Australian in 2007 and 2008, before his retirement at the end of the 2016 season.

Glamour couple Jimmy and Nadia met in 2008 and wed in a lavish ceremony on the Bellarine Peninsula in February 2014, after the Brownlow medallist popped the question on a private Mexico beach.

The bride donned two custom J’Aton gowns at their star-studded wedding at Baie Wines.

At the time, she said it was “the most magical day of my entire life” as she wed “the man of my dreams”.

Both Nadia and Jimmy have declined to comment.
