The chef behind one of the world’s best restaurants, Attica’s Ben Shewry, will feed more than 1000 people at the Herald Sun’s World’s Longest Lunch to kick off the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

This will mark the first time Attica will share elements of its $320-a-head degustation at this scale.

One lucky attendee of the lunch, taking place at the CBD’s Treasury Gardens on March 25, will win a $1200 voucher to Attica.

The prize will also include a 12-month Herald Sun digital subscription and a goodie bag.

Twenty runners-up prizes will be up for grabs, too.

Herald Sun staff will deliver prizes to the seats of those who have won.

The Herald Sun’s World’s Longest Lunch will run from noon-4pm on Friday March 25. Tickets are $225.
