What can people expect from your show at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival?
I guess the common misconception is Chinese people are wealthy and unfunny.
So come on down, I am exactly the opposite.

What have you been up to since last time you were here?
I fixed my teeth, now I look better and got on some TV in China and UK, and spend a lot of time creating this new show.

If you had same experience — once lived and studied in Australia and finding culture shock amazing — then come on down.
What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?
Please be punctual.

Jez Watts.
What stands out to you about Melbourne and/or its people?
Not foreign at all, I am gonna have homesick when I got back to Shanghai.
Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?
Patrice O’Neal, the GOAT, just funny and fearless.
Anything else you want us to know about you or your show?
I do two runs in both English and Mandarin, first time ever at MICF, I guess.
