Non-stop laughter every single night as we present the best mix of up and coming comedians and celebrity headline acts.

THE A-Z OF COMEDIAN Q&AS

ULTIMATE 2019 MELBOURNE COMEDY FESTIVAL GUIDE

What have you been up to since last time you were here?

We’ve now expanded our comedy club into Adelaide as part of the fringe festival and have our sights on Sydney and the Gold Coast for future expansion.

Who should see your show, and why?

Anyone that doesn’t know who to go and see in the festival.

We offer a sample of comedians every single show so people don’t need to gamble on seeing an hour of a comedian they don’t know.

What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?

Bring a sense of humour, plan a night out and aim to see a few shows.

Book a hotel room in the city so you don’t have to worry about driving or getting around all night.

Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?

Sam Simmons — I saw him three times last year and five times the year before. (Paid for three of those shows, Sam).

Mark Watson is also a personal favourite, especially participating in his 40-hour show many years ago.

What do you love about Melbourne?

MICF is the best time of the year in the city for me.

Everyone is in the best mood and the vibe is simply fantastic.

It’s so nice to see so many smiling faces around.

Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?

Dave Chapelle and Sam Simmons. From being wacky and out there to being amazing personalities both on and off stage.

Anything else you want us to know about you or your show?

Come see my solo show Man vs Meth as I highlight the dark sides of addiction with a hectic, fast-paced journey that is non-stop crazy the whole time. It’s right after the Kings show, so you can spend the whole night with us.
