We are also particularly excited to have some very special guest stars joining our bold and

magnificent puppets, The Ritas this season.

We are so happy to welcome award-winning comic talent each performance, such as Elly Squire, Patti Stiles, Jason Geary, Rik Brown, Lliam Amor and many more.

What have you been up to since last time you were here?

The Ritas have been on tour in 2018 performing at libraries across Melbourne.

Their latest visit was to Caroline Springs and Melton libraries.

You can see them throughout 2019 at your local library and their school holiday programs.

Who should see your show, and why?

The Junior Mighty Little Puppet Show is suitable for kids of all ages and their grown-ups.

The show combines puppetry with the limitless world of improvised storytelling.

Audience members are encouraged to interact with some of Melbourne’s best comic talent and our stars of the show, our custom built puppets, The Ritas.

By using detachable eyes and noses from the ‘Face Buffet’ audience members can create new puppet characters who go on wild journeys and different adventures.

Every hilarious and heartwarming show is different and is guaranteed to be loved by both children and adults alike.

What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?

Bring your entire family along to the festival.

Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?

Mr Snot Bottom — super silly and fun for kids of all ages.

Game on 2.0 – These veterans of the kids’ comedy scene create a wild, fun and crazy experience for your kids.

Clara Cupcakes — a free show for all ages; taking creativity to the streets.

What do you love about Melbourne?

One of my favourite things about Melbourne is its dedication to “family friendly” activities.

With the school holidays coming up, there are heaps of brilliant activities, workshops, tours and events for families to get involved in.

Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?

A huge inspiration for The Mighty Littles is the genius who was Jim Henson!

Not just for the most obvious reason … his transformation of the art of puppetry into a mainstream phenomenon.

Anything else you want us to know about you or your show?
