What can people expect from your show at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival?

At each show, audiences will hear dating horror stories and anecdotes from different comedians nightly, share their own stories (anonymously if preferred), play games, and sometimes even participate in a live, onstage match game that always ends in a surprise.

The show is different every night!

What do we need to know about you?

I have been doing this show for about a year at festivals around the world, from Edinburgh to Perth.

When not doing festivals, I live in Las Vegas and travel doing stand-up comedy.

Who should see your show, and why?

This show is for anyone who’s ever been on a bad date, anyone single, and anyone curious about the dating world in general.

We have young people and old people come check out the show and find it equally enjoyable as we try to shine some humour on how hard it is to find “the one.”

What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?

Buy tickets early. Once a show gets some press and some word of mouth going, they sell out quickly.

Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?

Neal Portenza is always good.

What are your first impressions of Melbourne?

Commenting on a city during a festival is probably not completely fair, but people in Melbourne are great and seem to be happy to come support shows and try new experiences.

Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?

Everything has the potential to be comedic inspiration. It’s just the point of view.
