What can people expect from your show at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival?

An unforgettable superhero adventure filled with extreme silliness and unquestionable danger. Joyous physical comedy for all the family.

Can the invincible Captain Cauliflower defeat his arch nemesis the odorous Onion Man?

If you’re new to MICF, tell us about you. If not, tell us what you’ve been up to since last time you were here.

We are Mad Etiquette from the UK, we create fun, physical comedy shows for children and adults.

We have performed all over the world but this is our debut in Australia.

Spruik it! Who should see your show, and why?

Captain Cauliflower and Marvin the Mischievous Moose is a non-verbal, physical comedy show for children, that adults will also enjoy.

Having played to sellout audiences at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and all over the UK, the invincible Captain Cauliflower and his animal companion have landed in Australia. Don’t miss this chance to see these highly skilled, top class clowns in action.

What’s your No. 1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?

Of course we’re going to recommend our adult show The Establishment: Le Bureau de Strange, an anarchic comedy rollercoaster of a show, which has been described as Monty Python meets Lano and Woodley.

Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?

Garry Starr because he is the greatest actor who ever lived. Also Stamptown, a wild and fun late-night variety show.

Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?

Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, Buster Keaton and all the great comedians of the golden age of silent movies.

Neil Frost, Captain Cauliflower and Marvin the Mischievous Moose, APRIL 6-21, The Coopers Malthouse Mini Merlyn, 113 Sturt St, Southbank. BOOK TICKETS.
