What can people expect from your show at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival?

In 2018, the Federal Government established the Australian Space Agency.

This comedy festival, we are documenting Australia’s first intergalactic foray.

We believe the public has a right to know what’s actually going on behind the scenes.

None of this cloak-and-dagger nonsense we’ve been subject to in the past.

TOP COMICS REVEAL THEIR FAVOURITE COMEDIANS

What can you tell us about you?

We’re five women who have performed, written and directed three years of the Melbourne University Law Revue with much success, having received multiple nominations and awards for our work.

Hailing from the training grounds of The Improv Conspiracy, Laugh Masters Academy and the VCA, we’ve come to together to create this show because we find each other a little bit funny, which honestly, really helps when writing a show for the comedy festival.

Who should see your show, and why?

You should. This show is fast-paced, satirical, topical but absurd and above all wildly entertaining.

What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?

Hit up those early 5pm matinees.

The comedian will thank you sincerely, and you’ll have time for two or even three shows a night. Go on. You’ve earned it.

Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?

Paradise! A Cool & Smart Show — this up-and-coming sketch duo have insane onstage chemistry.

They’re absurd, messy and very funny.

Come with an open mind and a raincoat.

Jude Pearl: I Have A Face — extremely talented musical comedian who performs original, hilarious songs based on her life experiences.

Catch her now before she inevitably becomes too famous for sweet little Melbourne.

What do you love about Melbourne?

The Sun Theatre Yarraville. Nice seats, big popcorn.

Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?

John Mulaney, Mae Martin, The Mighty Boosh, Chelsea Peretti.

Witty and absurd, they are completely original voices doing what makes them laugh — their joy is contagious.

Anything else you want us to know about you or your show?

We’re located in the Nicholas Building right across from the Town Hall — mighty convenient.

FLAT PACK, SPACE FORCE, MARCH 28-APRIL 7, TIC SWANSTON, ROOM 502, 37 SWANSTON ST (THE NICHOLAS BUILDING). BOOK TICKETS
