COMEDY SHOWS TO SEE WITH YOUR MATES

What have you been up to since last time you were here?

Since my last Gibbo-nominated comedy festival show in 2016, we went to Geelong for a weekend away. It was pretty good. The paddle pops over there are half price.

My neighbour Yadna’s roses have been growing very well. She is so proud of them.

Luelin (my little brother), broke our walkman, but that is okay.

Yadna gave him a discman for Christmas.

She gave me another fidget spinner.

Who should see your show, and why?

Everybody should come and see our show.

Especially if you’re a cat person.

Dog people are also welcome but please don’t shake my hand. I don’t want it to get itchy.

What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?

Try not to eat too many heavy foods.

Eat lots of fibre. But not too much fibre.

Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?

Double Denim. They have great dance moves, lots of energy and wear denim which is very fashionable.

Fran Middleton. She is a funny comedian and jazz singer that makes very impressive props.

Tom Walker. He is a kind boy and uses lots of sound effects which I like.

What do you love about Melbourne?

It’s a special treat when my brother and I travel into the city.

It takes a long time for us to get to get there from where we live by public transport.

When you go out to the city, you want to be sure you have a good reason to be taking the Night Rider bus home.

The comedy festival is a great reason to take the Night Rider.

Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?

Daffy Duck and Daryl Somers. Because I want to be as funny as my heroes.

Anything else you want us to know about you or your show?

There will be popcorn.
