What can people expect from your show at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival?

Jonathan Schuster has been tearing up the place with his bold, fresh, unapologetic comedy.

In this day and age you get slammed for saying the wrong thing.

Well, how about a man that says it anyway?

He is the hero we have all been waiting for.

Fifty minutes of silliness that will you have you laughing at the absurdity of the world in 2019.

BRITISH AND IRISH COMEDIANS TO SEE THIS YEAR

TOP COMICS REVEAL THEIR FAVOURITE COMEDIANS

What have you been up to since last time you were here?

I’ve been kicked off the steps of parliament for speaking the hard truth.

I’ve been ostracised for being a white man. I’m finally going to perform my dumb jokes about Crocs and The Sims to people and not be censored.

Who should see your show, and why?

Anyone who enjoys a silly, fun show that doesn’t take themselves too seriously. Snowflakes enter at own risk.

What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?

Always go see anyone you’re excited to see but then take a punt on someone you’ve never heard of.

It’s one of the biggest comedy festivals in the world. Soak it up and get among it.

Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?

Maria Bamford is coming over from the States, who is at the top of her game.

I’m also keen to see Sass Attack with Urvi Majumdar and Carla Wills, some real funny local talent whose show looks very exciting.

What do you love about Melbourne?

I love Melbourne. I think we are friendly and are proud of our city.

I suggest meeting locals and asking them what’s good.

Plenty of secret bars and shops that come out of nowhere.

It might be just having a drink at a bar but feels like a little adventure.

Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?

Steve Coogan, Sarah Silverman, Dave Chappelle … Pretty much anyone except Cosby and CK.

Anything else you want us to know about you or your show?

Jonathan Schuster is back and this time he needs to tell it like it is.

Are you a soy boy? A snowflake? Then get the *bleep* outta here.
