What can people expect from your show at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival?

High-energy fun with a touch of nostalgia.

We use the perfect combination of hi-tech audiovisual production and incredibly low-tech props.

The result ends up being a fun and inclusive environment that taps into the universal love of film and television.

What have you been up to since last time you were here?

We took last year’s comedy festival show Wide World of Esports to the Melbourne Fringe Festival where we were nominated for best comedy.

Who should see your show, and why?

This year’s show explores the film industry we came to know and love during the ’90s.

You will be guided through the world famous Game Boys Studios Backlot Tour where you can try your luck as a money hungry studio executive, witness the edge-of-your-seat excitement of a live-action stunt show or come face-to-face with a T-Rex.

Yes, we have a T-Rex.

There will be something for everyone but anyone that grew up in the ’90s will be particularly blown away.

What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?

Visit the festival club as much as possible to see a variety of local performers do 10 minute sets.

I guarantee you will find some new performers that you will fall in love with that you would never have heard of otherwise.

Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?

Daniel Kitson is alway a pleasure when ever he has been out.

His insight into the human condition mixed with his ingeniously funny story telling is magic. We are also keen on seeing James Acaster for the first time with his wit, emotional outbursts and perfect blend of story telling it is right up our alley.

What do you love about Melbourne?

The sense of community here is amazing.

There is so much support for new and emerging artists and comedians.

People are always willing to try new things and experiences.

Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?

Growing up as three brothers with similar senses of humour, we alway were trying to make each other laugh so it was natural we would one day try our hand at comedy.

We take a lot of our inspiration from English comedy.

Anything else you want us to know about you or your show?

This is our fifth original show to premiere at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and we feel it’s our most ambitious.

Merging together all aspects of the film and television industry into a fun, interactive and at times educational master class.
