What have you been up to since last time you were here?
Performed my stand-up show NAKED in Edinburgh and Sydney Fringe, and then decided to co-write a show called Dirty Baby, before Dirty Diana, to confuse everyone.
Who should see your show, and why?
All disappointed refugee parents, so they can realise their kid isn’t doing too bad.
What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?
Watch a headliner, but venture into the dark and watch newbies trying it out, too.
Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?
I am all about Asian pride and women.
I tried not to clash with Annie Louey, but she is on at the same time.
We’ve promised to send our audiences to each other because we need more coloured women in the MICF.
What are your impressions of Melbourne?
If you don’t drink coffee, you are ostracised from Melbourne.
However, if you drink Kombucha … you are fine.
Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?
I have three.
Ali Wong — She is a nasty and hilarious Asian American comedian paving the yellow brick wall.
Dave Chapelle — He just gets me.
Amy Schumer — She is having a baby.
Anything else you want us to know about you or your show?
My mum will be sitting in the audience waiting with a bathrobe like she did for three years to make sure I am not NAKED.
