What can people expect from your show at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival?

Loads of impro.

I love those moments that are one off where I don’t know what’s going to happen.

It’s so much fun to interact with the audience and they always surprise you — one woman said her job was to punch the holes in rich tea biscuits and another guy was an artificial pig inseminator.

BRITISH AND IRISH COMEDIANS TO SEE THIS YEAR

TOP COMICS REVEAL THEIR FAVOURITE COMEDIANS

I reckon it’ll be hyper, high energy and there will deffo be dancing, singing and stories of everything fun that happened in the last year!

What have you been up to since last time you were here?

Had a riot hosting Hogmanay (Scotland’s word for New Year) in a car park in Inverness in front of 10,000 people as three ceilidh bands kept us all dancing into the wee small hours.

Got myself a swanky new kilt to celebrate 20 years in comedy and have just loved touring this show.

Who should see your show, and why?

Anyone who likes their comedy a little bit saucy and unpredictable.

Think of me as your kilty pleasure.

What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?

Sit in the front and be part of the show.

Leave all your stress behind and laugh your a-- off. That’s why we do it.

Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?

Nick Cody and Rhys Nicholson crack me up.

What do you love about Melbourne?

So much happening, very cool and probably the first place I ever found brilliant hidden bars. And because you have that wonderful weather, it’s a joy to have drinkies on your rooftop bars.

Brekkie in Oz is an absolute delight and everyone has that fun get-up-and-go energy about them, I reckon.

Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?

Victoria Wood — just a brilliant comic with great timing who wrote about real life in such a funny way.

Anything else you want us to know about you or your show?

Yes, I storm on dancing in a kilt so you might see more than you bargained for.
