Our show is a live recording of our podcast We Want To Be Better.

Every episode we choose a topic and discuss ways we can be better at them.

People coming to our show can expect a lot of embarrassing stories, failed attempts at success, and plenty of sharp wit.

Tell us about you.

We are two best friends who want to use comedy while we strive to be more understanding of others and live better lives.

Annie is the eccentric, kind, and goofy one.

She is a mother of three who has a serious problem with adopting animals in need.

Meanwhile, Bianka is the best friend you would find yourself locked up with.

She’s semi-vulgar, overly confident and a pop-culture queen.

Who should see your show, and why?

Lefties, ha.

But for real, anyone who loves strong women and good humour.

Or just anyone who is tired of stressing about their own ineptitudes and would rather hear about someone else’s for an hour.

What’s your No.1 tip for people coming to see a show at the comedy festival?

Don’t forget to check out the smaller, less-advertised shows.

And support local artists.

Which other comedians/shows are you keen to see at this year’s festival, and why?

We are very excited for fellow Aussie podcaster’s shows — Christian Hull’s show, and Confessions of a Twenty-Something Trainwreck.

We are huge fans of both of them.

What do you love about Melbourne?

We live here.

The weather sucks, but the coffee’s good.

Who or what is your comedic inspiration, and why?

Edina and Patsy (Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley) from Absolutely Fabulous.

You can’t help but love them, despite them being steaming hot messes.

We also love Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer as they are not only hilarious women but also social justice.

Anything else you want us to know about you or your show?

Well, we will just take this opportunity to let you know we are vegan (classic vegans, eh!).
