THEY’VE got the green light to take laughter to every corner of Australia.
Let’s just hope Josh Earl (left), Xavier Michelides and Gillian Cosgriff are not steering the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow bus.
On Wednesday, test driving their material at Essendon Traffic School, their navigation skills left a bit to be desired.
“I’m a good driver ... in an emergency,’’ Cosgriff insisted.
But on the laugh track to Ringwood or Rockhampton, this award winning musical comedian shows real talent behind a keyboard.
“Heading out and playing towns, I love it,’’ she said.
“It's a bit like going on camp, really, with excursions to waterfalls and gorges in between gigs.’’
Two companies head out this week — one to Tasmania, the other to Queensland — with Hannah Gadsby, Dave Callan, Demi Lardner, Nath Valvo and Sam Taunton hitching a roadshow ride between now and July.
