SOFIA Vergara has been caught on camera having a triumphantly bad hair day.
The usually exquisitely coiffed and put together actor made a surprisingly unflattering appearance on Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Instagram account, sporting a dishevelled do, smeared lipstick and uncharacteristically bushy brows.
Fans need not worry that Vergara has become the latest celebrity to battle substance abuse demons - the image was caught on the set of the popular comedy show, during filming in the Beverly Hills neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
The curvy actress was almost unrecognisable in a baggy T-shirt and ripped tracksuit pants paired with Crocs slip-ons. It was all good fun for Ferguson, who plays lawyer Mitchell Pritchett on the show. He captioned the image: “I woke up like this.”
Fans of the Modern Family will have to wait to find out why Vergara’s beauty was so shockingly broken down.
