A royal insider has claimed that the palace is tempting Prince Harry back to the UK with a special trip, and Meghan Markle is not happy about it.

A Royal insider has claimed Meghan Markle is fearful that another trip to the UK could make Prince Harry homesick.

According to The Sun, the Queen has offered her grandson Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle to join her on her annual holiday to Balmoral in the Highlands.

An insider from Balmoral told Closer magazine that the invite is “bittersweet” for the Sussexes, as: “On one hand it fuels her and Harry’s confidence that they are still very much part of the family.

“But after so much time away, she fears Harry will be lured back into the fold ad want to return to the UK.”

The insider went on to say Meghan is worried “over how these types of visit can pull at his heartstrings,” and “after so much time away, she fears Harry will be lured into the fold and want to return to the UK.”

Reportedly Prince Harry wants to “spend as much time with his grandmother while he still can.

“So this offer is a big deal to him and it’s one he’s going to take up with open arms.”

It comes as Harry is in the “honeymoon phase” in his life in Montecito, a celebrity columnist has claimed.

US blogger Perez Hilton told royal commentator Kinsey Schofield’s To Di For Daily podcast: “Harry has no family here in Montecito. He has no lifelong friends in Montecito.

“He has new friends, he hobnobs with David Foster and with Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and with Ellen… I’m sure and with Oprah down the street.

“But he’s in the honeymoon phase of moving. And that’s all fun now… and his children are still very young.

“I would think eventually there might come a time when he would want his children to have a meaningful relationship with his family.

“So, I do think eventually he will want to move back. The big question is, is she down for the move as well? I don’t know.”

MEGHAN MARKLE ‘ON THE WARPATH AGAIN’

Prince Harry’s lambasted and lampooned speech to the United Nations has reportedly left “massive reverberations” throughout the Sussex camp.

The speech to a largely empty arena in New York would have been extremely difficult for the Duke of Sussex, according to YouTube royal commentator Neil Sean.

“It appears that Meghan Markle is on the warpath once again,” Mr Sean said, adding it was a “new anger” for the Duchess.

Harry and Meghan delivered the keynote address to the UN for Mandela Day in a speech laughed at by Mandela’s family and criticised for comparing the US to Russia.

Mr Sean said the reality of the speech - and the public reaction to it - was a far cry from its promotion as a great moment in history.

“It kind of looked like a British pantomime that hadn’t sold out... all those empty seats, never a good look,” Mr Sean said.

“There’s no way that he wouldn’t have known that he wasn’t a draw. Wasn’t a sellout,” he added.

The United Nations’ attempts to explain away the lack of crowd by claiming the event wasn’t highly publicised was equally “rubbish”, Mr Sean said.

“This was put into the world’s media... Everybody would have known about it so what was the particular problem?”

“And she wants answers, naturally so, because they made that big effort to come all the way from California to spend time in New York and when they arrived, there isn’t the glory, welcome, that they both anticipated.

“You can understand they schlepped all those miles to do that.”

“This could have massive reverberations for people working closely with Meghan because, you know, how are you going to back up the fact that sadly you weren’t able to fill up these seats?

“And more importantly get the positive PR that they truly expected from this particular venture.”

The latest indignity for Prince Harry’s UN speech comes after he was dunked on by the US Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito

Alito wrote the Roe v Wade abortion ruling that Harry and other “foreign leaders” like Prime Ministers Anthony Albanese, Boris Johns and Justin Trudea heavily criticised.

“What really wounded me - what really wounded me - was when the Duke of Sussex addressed the United Nations and seemed to compare the decision whose name may not be spoken with the Russian attack on Ukraine,” Mr Alito said.

The sarcastic comments, Mr Alito’s first since the landmark ruling, were delivered to massive laughs and applause during a speech in Rome, posted to the YouTube page of the University of Notre Dame Law School this week.

Prince Harry used a keynote speech to the United Nations in New York to launch a shocking attack on the US government in an unprecedented break in Royal protocol of not commenting on political decisions.

“The few, weaponising lies and disinformation at the expense of the many,” he said. “And from the horrific war in Ukraine to the rolling back of Constitutional rights here in the United States, we are witnessing a global assault on democracy and freedom.”

Mr Alito told the 2022 Religious Liberty Summit that he was tempted to comment on the jurisprudence of other countries that professed to value freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of conscience.

But he had second thoughts given he was an American judge with no business to criticise decisions that are handed down by foreign courts.

Mr Albanese had no such reservations when he waded into the US’s Roe v Wade ruling, which returned the lawmaking power over abortion access to the individual legislatures of the US’s 50 states.

“This decision has caused enormous distress. And it is a setback for women and their right to control their own bodies and their lives in the United States,” Mr Albanese told the ABC AM program.

“It is a good thing that in Australia, this is not a matter for partisan political debate,” he added, despite most of Australia having more restrictive abortion laws than the US.

While Mr Albanese didn’t rate a mention by name, Mr Alito said he had the “honour this term of writing I think the only Supreme Court decision in the history of that institution that has been lambasted by a whole string of foreign leaders who felt perfectly fine commenting on American law”.

“One of these was former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, but he paid the price,” Mr Alito joked to another huge laugh, referencing Johnson being pressured out of the UK’s Conservative Party.

“But others are still in office. President Macron and Prime Minister Trudeau I believe are two.”
