WAG's worst nightmare: Candice Falzon, Rebecca O'Donovan wear similar dresses to 2014 Allan Border Medal

IT'S every WAG's worst nightmare - rocking up to cricket's night of nights, only to find someone wearing the same dress as you.

IT'S the sort of red carpet blunder WAGs have nightmares about - rocking up to one of the most glamorous events in sport, only to find someone wearing the same dress as you.

That nightmare quickly became a reality for Candice Falzon and Rebecca O'Donovan last night, who turned up to the 2014 Allan Border Medal at Daltone House in Sydney wearing near-identical gowns.

The gilded frocks were both designed by Aussie label Ae'lkemi, with the only difference being the length - O'Donovan donned the shorter, sleeved version while Falzone's featured a sheer train.

The fashion faux pas between the fellow WAGs was unmissable, but with neither lady opting to make a mad dash to change frocks, they managed to grin and bear it.

Ironwoman Falzone, who made her debut at cricket's night of nights on the arm of boyfriend David Warner, tweeted last night: "Had an amazing night with my special man @davidwarner31 at the Allan Border Medal tonight."

Channel 7 reporter and former Miss Universe contestant O'Donovan, who is engaged to Shaun Marsh, didn't comment on the stuff up.

Kudos to the ladies for handling the awkward situation well. Not so much to the designer who let them both wear the same style.
