The Duchess of Cambridge has chopped her hair into a ‘lob’ (or a long bob), taking a good few inches off her trademark luscious locks.

The mother-of-two showed off the new look while arriving at ICAP’s London office for the firm’s 23rd annual charity day, where the brokerage gives all of its profits made on the day to good causes including SkillForce, of which William is patron, and SportsAid and Place2Be, of which Kate is patron.

The Duchess of Cambridge had much longer hair, seen here on the 18th November 2015.

The Duchess of Cambridge joined brokers on the phone to close deals and help boost trading.

The Mirror reports the chop is a “rare change” for The Duchess and is significantly shorter than we’ve seen on her throughout her many years in the spotlight.

The mother of Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 7 months, recycled one of her favourite suits by L.K. Bennett for the event, (she last wore the jacket and skirt in 2012), teaming it with earrings and a necklace by Mappin & Webb and suede Jimmy Choo pumps.

The Duchess’ new ‘lob’ attracted much attention.

The Duchess also appears to be growing out her fringe.
