Shanina Shaik splits from DJ hubby DJ Ruckus

Australian Victoria’s Secret model Shanina Shaik has revealed she has separated from her husband of a year, DJ Ruckus.

Australian Victoria’s Secret model Shanina Shaik and her husband DJ Ruckus have separated after a year of marriage.

The 28-year-old married Ruckus aka Greg Andrews on a private island in the Bahamas in April last year.

“After careful thought and consideration, Shanina Shaik and Greg ‘DJ Ruckus’ Andrews have decided to separate,” a rep told E! News. “They move forward with much mutual respect and love for each other and ask to please respect their privacy during this time.”

They were last pictured together on May 16 in New York.

The couple first met at Coachella in 2015 and were engaged just after Christmas that year.

DJ Ruckus proposed on Lenny Kravitz’s private island with the rings flown in by family friend Denzel Washington.

In February, Shaik spoke to fellow model Rosie Huntington-Whitely about starting a family.

“Personally, I’m thinking about a family and when to settle down and have all that as well,” she told the website Rose Inc. “But there are so many things on my dream board that I need to tick off and want to do, and hopefully I’ll do some more movies as well,’ she said. ‘If I can do all of that, I’ll be very happy.”
