Celeb mummy style: From glamour puss to girl next door
The former Sex and the City star's two three-year-old daughters, Marion and Tabitha, and son James, 11, with husband Matthew Broderick, are constantly in the eye of the paparazzi.
But the well-dressed tots always make sure they've got their best fashion foot forward as they skip through the streets of New York hand-in-hand.
Parker recently told People magazine the girls pick out their own clothes every single day.
"They won’t listen," she told the mag. "I just provide the clothing and a lot of those dresses they wear are from my childhood or my niece’s young childhood.”
She also joked the girls have a scheduled daily styling session to prepare their wardrobes.
“We have a routine. They pick out their clothes at three o’clock when they wake up from their nap,” she laughed. “We tell them nothing. We just give them the temperature outside and if they don’t pick enough clothing, then we say, ‘You need leggings or pants. You need to add something so you’ll be warm enough.’ That’s all they would listen to.”
But even though they are twins, the girls are already showing signs of individual personalities, their mother adds.
“One is more serious than the other. [Marion] will sometimes say, ‘Mama, can you help me with my bundle.’ Bundles are what we make for the next morning. But Tabitha is completely on her own. She’s extremely independent," Sarah explained.
"They pick their hair ties, which are Emi-Jay. They only wear Emi-Jay hair ties and insist upon it. They pick their own head bands, pick their own hats. It’s very amusing and entertaining for me.”
