Princess Eugenie’s strict rule for her royal wedding

PRINCESS Eugenie will get hitched on Friday in front of other royals, plenty of A-listers and high society figures. But none of them are exempt from this rule.

PRINCESS Eugenie has issued a strict instruction to guests ahead of her star-studded royal wedding.

The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, who will wed longtime partner Jack Brooksbank inside St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Friday, has told her 850 guests that they aren’t allowed to bring mobile phones or cameras to the event.

According to Vanity Fair, Eugenie, 28, has privately asked guests not to tweet or Instagram any photos of the wedding, and all guests have been formally notified that they will be requested “to surrender mobile telephones, cameras and any electronic devices used for image capture” upon arrival at the reception.

The magazine is also reporting that attendees have all been sent an information pack with the “dos and don’ts” for the nuptials.

It includes an instruction not to bring wedding gifts on the day, and instead send them to the Duke of York’s office in Buckingham Palace. Guests — likely including the Clooneys and the Beckhams — have also been told they need to bring two forms of identification, and that they must meet at a designated farm shop in Windsor, where they’ll then be ferried to the venue in a bus.

On Wednesday, it was revealed via the official royal website that Eugenie’s sister Princess Beatrice will serve as her maid of honour, while her fiance’s brother, Tom Brooksbank, will be best man.

Princess Charlotte, the three-year-old daughter of Prince William and his wife Catherine, will be in the bridal party, along with her five-year-old brother Prince George, Robbie Williams’ daughter Theodora, and a gaggle of other royal and A-list kids.

Earlier this week, Buckingham Palace released new details about the service, announcing it would feature a trumpet fanfare as well as Scottish pipers, a performance by Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, and a prayer written by Archbishop of York John Sentamu.

London baker Sophie Cabot is making the red velvet and chocolate wedding cake, billed as “a traditional cake with a modern feel”.
