Prince Harry’s former girlfriend reveals intimate details of their affair

A former girlfriend of Prince Harry has shared intimate recollections of their brief relationship, including the royal’s kissing technique.

A British actress who enjoyed a fleeting romance with the Duke of Sussex when he was 21 says he prefers older women and revealed he is a “great” kisser.

Television reality star Catherine Ommanney, best known for her appearances in Real Housewives of D.C, was 34 when she met Prince Harry after working Washington’s elite circle and says he “knew what he was doing” and was a “great kisser”.

In advance of the release of the royal’s memoir, Spare coming out this week, the divorced mother of two, now 51, told The Sun newspaper of their one-month romance in 2006, she “had the “time of my life” with the prince who gave her the “most passionate kiss I’ve ever had” after meeting at the fashionable Art Bar in London.

She also told the newspaper she gave Prince Harry the sobriquet “baby” because he enjoyed sucking on lollipops and that the pair acted like teenagers and kissed passionately on dates while he was in an on-off relationship with South African-born socialite Chelsy Davy.

“I doubt I will be in Harry’s book as a prince can’t run off with a 34-year-old mother-of-two, it’s just not the done thing,” said Ms Ommanney, who was separated from her husband Stephen at the time.

“We had some mutual friends in the property business, and he introduced himself.

“Harry was wearing an Australian-style hat that made me laugh so I asked him, ‘What are you doing looking like a t*** in that?’

“I don’t think he was used to people taking the Mickey and once we started talking, it was like there was no one else was in the room.”

Speaking from Spain where she now lives, she went on, ‘’He was only 21 so a relationship was the furthest thing from my mind.

“But when everyone started leaving at around 11pm, Harry pointed to one of three Range Rovers parked outside and said, ‘Hop in with me,’ which I found very flattering.

“We were driven to Eclipse nightclub in South Kensington and whisked downstairs to the VIP area.

“A few moments later the manager came over and asked, ‘What is your favourite song?’ Harry said, ‘Gnarls Barkley, Crazy.’

“We went to another club but after half an hour I told Harry, ‘I’m starving, do you make a good bacon sandwich?’

“He said, ‘I make an excellent bacon sandwich’ and we went back to his friend’s place in Chelsea.

“Harry and I shared a cigarette on the steps outside and he really opened-up to me.”

She claims the prince opened up to her about his close relationship with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II before they retired to the upstairs bathroom where they joked around like teenagers, singing into toothbrushes and posed in their clothes in the bathtub for a picture taken by a friend.

Later, she said they were play fighting on the floor and giggling like teenagers.

“It was then that he lifted me by my waist off the floor and held me against the wall. He gave me the most incredible, passionate kiss I have ever had in my life. I was absolutely speechless,” she said.

The pair met several times more in exclusive bars in London before their romance ended when the prince changed his mobile number.

“I had the time of my life when I was with Harry as we got each other’s sense of humour,” she said.
